Marion Center and Office Renovation

Willamette Education Service District

Willamette ESD sought to reinvest in their mission and in the districts they serve with a strategic renovation of their aging 70,000-SF administrative headquarters. Pride, identity, service, and innovation are reflected throughout, towards a goal of creating a professional, welcoming, friendly, environment that enhances the district’s core mission to serve children.

The focal point of the project is the conversion of disjointed office space into a new professional learning center with four flexible training rooms, full AV systems, and support spaces. New, iconic entry monuments create clear wayfinding to the administrative wing and the learning center. A renovated “café” provides a contemporary, desirable space for staff lunch and break time, along with a warming kitchen for catering support.

Two floors of office space were transformed with new LED lighting, fresh finishes, creative ceiling design, and bold wall graphics that reinforce department identities and ESD values.
